My journey has taken me from Bulgaria’s National Team to Japan’s most prestigious judo institutions, where I trained, competed, and refined my expertise at the highest level.

Receiving a prestigious scholarship to study and train at Nihon University—one of Japan’s top institutions for judo and physical education—was a turning point in my career. It allowed me to immerse myself in Japan’s elite judo culture, refining my technical skills, tactical strategies, and coaching methodologies.

After graduation, I was honored to be selected to represent Ryotokuji University, a powerhouse in Japan’s professional Judo League. Competing at this level meant training alongside and against Olympians and world champions, further sharpening my skills in one of the most demanding judo environments on the planet.

My expertise in judo led me to the corporate judo scene, where I joined one of Japan’s top company teams, competing in the All Japan Company Championships—one of the most prestigious judo events outside of the Olympics and World Championships.
